The Queen Mary Hospital (QMH) was founded in 1937 and is one of the largest hospitals in Hong Kong. It is a teaching hospital for the University of Hong Kong Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine and is particularly renowned for its liver transplant center, the designated liver transplant center for Hong Kong. The hospital also performs a role as a tertiary referral center for many complex medical services, including transplant, neonatal intensive care, pediatric surgery, assisted reproduction, oral maxillofacial surgery, dental surgery, burns and reconstructive surgery, and neurosurgery.
