  • During postgraduate education, he obtained 1st and 2nd degree specializations in internal medicine (1988, 1992) and cardiology (1995).
  • He received the diploma of doctor of medical sciences with honors in 1991, and he became a postdoctoral doctor of medical sciences in 2001. In 2009 he was awarded the title of professor. 
  • He improved his professional skills in leading cardiology centers in Poland (Zabrze, Warsaw) and during stays in renowned clinics in Europe and the USA.
  • He was a co-founder in 2000 and served as president of the management board of American Heart of Poland Investment Inc., president of the management board of American Heart of Poland SA, president of the supervisory board of NAFIS SA, and a cardiology consultant to American Heart of Poland SA.
