Dr Pranay Shah is a Consultant Obstetrician, Gynaecologist & Minimal Invasive Gynaecological Surgeon at the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
He graduated from the Seth G.S. Medical College, K.E.M. Hospital (Mumbai), a premier teaching institute in India.
He completed DGO from the College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1985, and MD (Ob-Gyn) from KEM Hospital (1986) with honours.
He received further training in Gynaecological Endoscopy at Bielefeld, Germany; Stanford, USA; and NUH, Singapore.
He has also received training in Gynaecological Robotic Assisted Laparoscopy at the Celebration Hospital, Florida, U.S.A in 2013 under Dr Arnold Advinicula, world’s leading Robotic surgeon.
Dr Shah has a rich experience of 26 years in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology including 20 years’ experience in Gynaecological Minimal Invasive Surgery (Laparoscopy / Hysteroscopy).
He has steered many training workshops and delivered lectures on different aspects of Gynaecological Endoscopy in meetings and conferences, nationally and internationally.
He is a Trainer / Facilitator at the Ethicon Institute of Surgical Education (EISE) and Centre of Excellence in Minimal Access Surgery Training (ceMAST).
He is also a trainer for the ISGE (International Society of Gynecological Endoscopy).
