Dr. Gabriel Ramos Gonzalez, MD, is a Surgical Innovation Fellow who will be the link between the clinicians and the Innovation and Digital Health Accelerator team.
He received a BSc degree in Physics from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (1996), and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Arizona in 2000 and 2003, respectively.
He Appointed as research associate at the University of Arizona, he worked in his doctoral dissertation in topics related to the optics of polymers and organic molecules.
In 2004 he became a researcher at the Photonics Department of the Centro de Investigaciones en Óptica (CIO).
His current interests include in general organic electronics and non-linear optics, including biophotonics, Spectroscopy and ultrafast Optics. He has published more than 50 scientific articles in international journals.
